Grüner Veltliner: the greatest grape you’ve never heard of, is an enticing, age worthy variety that has garnered steady international intrigue over the past 40 years. What might be dubbed the Atlantis of White Wine, Grüner Veltliner was historically significant in its homeland of Austria, but sank beneath the waves of obscurity until 2005 when Stephen produced the first commercial bottling available in the United States. Since then, Stephen has procured top awards for his Grüner, (including 'Best White Wine in North America' at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition), revealing the extraordinary qualities of the grape and its ability to rival the finest white wines in the world.
