Deep garnet in color, well structured with silky tannins, this wine begins with plummy aromas intermingled with red currant and blackberry flavors. A core of licorice and star anise emerge surrounded by boysenberry and red fruit preserves. In the background, a hint of chocolate, which slowly fades and gives way to flavors of figs and sweetness.
